I've been busting my butt trying to get my new WIP finished and seem to be hitting roadblocks every way I turn. In the last twelve days, I've scrapped six chapters and have yet to replace them with anything worth keeping.
In other news, I also managed to scratch my cornea and have been trying to type with one eye swollen shut.
Based on advice from friend and fellow author Seressia Glass, I'm going to take my synopsis and break it up into chapters. This should give me a working outline and help me get over this hump I'm in. Hopefully I'll have better news to report soon....

Hope your eye is healing! I know you'll do great and Seressia's advice should be very helpful!
Ouch! Look now, we can't afford for you to go blind. Not when you have a book coming out soon. Rest up that eye.
And as for the roadblock, I'm with Jax. Seressia's advice sounds VERY helpful. If all else fails, write the scene you're trying to get to. That usually helps to jog loose my writer's block.
Poor you! I scratched my cornea a few years ago. Boy does that hurt! Good luck on the WIP.
